I went to a small corner and cried because of small men on the internet
so I clapped back with a big beautiful move
Dear friends,
I need to honest with you.
A few weeks ago, I stepped away. As some of you might have known, some men incited hundreds of people to attack me on the internet.
They beat me up verbally with sexually charged comments. They tagged me into cutthroat comments that crumpled my confidence.
The best thing to do was: I went into a small corner and cried.
But something stirred up the inside of my being:
Would I stop doing what I love just because some people are bitter, bored and love to beat up women?
At my core, I believe in the ability of design to transform, change the world, inspire actions and so much more.
I wrote this newsletter and created this podcast because I think design can change your life.
For over a decade, I’ve learned that good design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about transformation. It’s about making you happier, healthier, and more intentional in how you live. And that truth doesn’t disappear because some people choose cruelty over curiosity.
So I’m back.
This newsletter will go on, and inspire you to the beauty of design, of living well in a world of anxiety and constant change.
I am working on some incredible contents at the moment. And we are designing an incredible studio that people can enjoy working here.
You will learn from people that design shoes, internet services, furniture, defense system for millions of people.
And how to adapt their wisdom into your everyday life.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading.
Thank you for being the kind of community worth coming back to.
I wish you a beautiful weekend.
Warmest,
Sandra
